I'll admit I kinda wrote this off as just another modern brutal death metal album when it came out, but upon revisiting it I was happy to discover I was quite wrong. This band have, with this release, hit upon a brilliant blend of atmosphere and brutality that surprised me with every new song. Hopefully this is the record that gets them some more exposure, as they deserve it.
